50-Postcard

Choose the strongest 5 postcards and 5 weaker ones. Why are they strong or weak reflect this as paragraph of reflective writing in your blog?

Weakest- Apple tree postcard, Full body image of Mr Bump Postcard, Title - Mr Bump, Title- Mr Men and Little Miss postcard and mailbox postcard.

Strongest: Mr bump at the sea, Mr bump falling down, Mr Bump with plaster, Window Smashed postcard and Seaside Mr Bump.

For the weakest postcard I have chosen these five as there was a lack of detail and didn't have a strong image, whereas the strongest five are better in quality and you can identify what the image is showing.

Make a work plan for your next two weeks, this must focus on making, craft, Experimentation, and testing. - For the next two weeks I will be looking what makes an artefact and the types of experimentation I should be doing. To help with these set tasks.

What process/es are you using? - Dry material and work.

How much time a day are you spending working with this process and are you using the 4 x 45- minute a day shift technique? - an hour worth of work

Are you experimenting with this process and what are your findings? - Having set times to do the task to see what I can with a time limit.

Do you feel you need to become more skilful in that process and are you using your time to enhance your skills? - Yes, to allow myself to take on new challenges and seeing what I'm able to make under pressure.

Start to imagine your final show artefact.

How do you intend to stand out among the other exhibits? - Focusing on the line work/detail to look either on digital or traditional techniques.
What are you planning to make? - Making a storyboard/comic similar to jukebox jive from year 1.

Has it been made before if so, how can you evolve this to be more future facing and different from all the hundreds of other similar works you have previously seen? - I've made this type of work previously in year 1 and would like to see how much I have improved since then maybe the outcome will be more of what I expect today.

The end of year show will creep up very quickly. Does your final proposed artefact have the ‘Va Va Voom’ factor?

How do we produce an artefact that leaves a memorable impact on visitors and future employers visiting the end of year show? Not sure?

• Who is the work for and what impact do you hope it will make? - For myself and other students I want retry and create animations or video installations I made before but made with better quality and resources.

• Where do you see it existing? - In the exhibition at UAL's design block.

• How will it change how people think about the world? - Presenting more ways of creating moving image.
